Laughing Gallery

This gallery contains 300 images of candid, unadulterated, uncontrived laughter. It has been a conscience project of mine for a couple of years including family, friends and strangers alike. Personally, it is the closest I have managed to come to the ever elusive "meaning of life" and acts as catalogue of reasons to live and to continue living. It is however not a gallery of photographic purity. The strength of the gallery lies not in the stand alone appeal of one or two photographs, nor the composition, lighting quality or clarity of the images, but in the energy created through a body of work with a consistent, positive idea and the feelings evoked as you pass through it. Laughter is a precious gift, ignorant of language, race, religion or social status. It crosses every boundary of humanity effortlessly, one of the few things that does so definitively. I feel genuinely lucky to of had the opportunity to capture all these unique moments of people that I love and care about and it truly brings me the greatest pleasure and satisfaction to be able to share these beautiful people with the world. To me each moment is as precious as the next, my small and humble gift to humanity.
